Watch out: Virus outbreak happening now!

Bremmar has identified two new scam e-mails going around this week! Be aware, share with your staff and take some actions to protect your business!

Bremmar would like to warn you about two new scam e-mails that have been identified which are happening now:


How does it work?

You will receive an email with a deposit confirmation attachment that will release a virus if you open it.

What to do?

Delete the email as soon as you receive it, DO NOT OPEN the attachment and please share this notification with all your staff.


How does it work?

You will receive an email with a link that will direct you to a webpage and will ask you to enter a Captcha code. By adding the Captcha code into the webpage a virus may infect your PC, spread to the network and cause significant damage to your data.

What to do?

  • Not to enter Captcha codes to ANY postal tracking sites
  • Don’t click on links when you feel unsure of where they came from
  • At the present we have seen 97 fake websites:hxxp://acodess-cm.org/Xq3t8B0ZC/Egpf6CdA.php…hxxp://xn--wrmeplatte-q5a.net/pFPzg/SjHkMuVZbyc9O.phpThey are rotating through landing pages such as:hxxp://AUPARCEL-CHECKER5.NET/hxxp://AUSPARCEL-TRACK1.COM/…
